Full Bio (150–200 words — for press and venue use):

Petty Things is Wisconsin’s premier tribute to Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, The Traveling Wilburys, and the iconic Stevie Nicks. Based in Wisconsin and performing across the Midwest, Petty Things has built a reputation as one of the region’s most authentic and professionally produced tribute experiences — delivering the heart, energy, and spirit of some of rock music’s most beloved catalogs to audiences night after night.

Fronted by four-time WAMI Award winner Geoff Landon, whose command of Tom Petty’s vocal style is nothing short of remarkable, the band brings together five of Wisconsin’s most accomplished working musicians. With special guest BD Greer joining the stage as Stevie Nicks, Petty Things delivers iconic duets and Fleetwood Mac moments that elevate the show beyond a standard tribute experience.

From the driving anthems of Free Fallin’ and American Girl to the supergroup magic of the Wilburys and the mystical elegance of Stevie Nicks, Petty Things offers a complete, unforgettable evening of music that resonates across generations.

PA & Front of House

Petty Things does not travel with a PA system. We require use of the house PA and front-of-house sound system. The system must be adequate to fill the venue at concert volume for a full rock band. Please confirm the following with your house engineer prior to show day:

  • Full-range stereo PA capable of covering the entire seating area
  • Dedicated front-of-house engineer familiar with the system
  • All required cables, DI boxes, and mic stands (see input list)
  • Adequate gain structure for electric guitar, bass, and full drum kit

Petty Things does not typically travel with our own microphones. However, we can provide our own vocal mics if requested ahead of time. Please contact our production contact in advance if you have questions about specific items.

Petty Things requires a minimum of six (6) independent monitor mixes. Please refer to the stage plot for monitor placement. All monitor mixes will be established during sound check. A dedicated monitor engineer is always preferred, but not always required for smaller venues; if the venue operates monitors from front of house, please confirm this in advance.

Petty Things does not travel with a lighting rig. We rely entirely on the house lighting system. We ask for a basic rock concert wash with the following:

  • Warm front wash sufficient to illuminate all performers
  • Color capability preferred (blues, ambers, and reds work well for our show)
  • A lighting operator present for the duration of the performance

We are happy to discuss our show’s mood and pacing with your lighting operator in advance or during sound check. While we do not provide a formal light cue sheet, our production contact can walk through the general feel of each set.

Petty Things has no special power requirements beyond those indicated on the stage plot. Standard stage power outlets are sufficient. Please ensure all required drops are in place prior to load-in.

Please refer to the attached stage plot for exact placement of all instruments and performers. An 8’x8’x12” or 16” drum riser is preferred, but our band can provide one if discussed ahead of time. If your stage presents any limitations, please contact our production contact as early as possible so we can discuss adjustments.

We keep our hospitality requests simple and are grateful for whatever you are able to provide.

  • Bottled water backstage for all performers — this is our only firm requirement.
  • A clean, private green room or holding space for the band prior to the show.
  • A light meal or snacks available at load-in is always appreciated.
  • Post-show food and beverages for the band are warmly welcomed but never expected.

We understand that hospitality varies by venue and budget. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions — we are easy to work with and happy to accommodate your house standards.

Please provide dedicated load-in access to the stage entrance and reserved parking for the band and crew vehicles for the duration of the engagement. If load-in access requires coordination with building staff or security, please advise our production contact in advance.

All inquiries are handled directly by booking manager Erik Holmes. We respond to all inquiries within one business day.
